Support Salon

At Salon we are creating space for talented artists to share amazing work with our community. To minimize barriers, we only charge what we need to in order to cover the core costs of the gallery (rent, bills etc), and our team of three has donated countless hours in free work over the past two years to make exhibiting here a realistic possibility for as many artists as possible. Nobody involved in running the Salon project has taken a salary or seen a personal economic benefit at any point.

Against this backdrop, we are asking those who have attended any of our ~60 free exhibitions so consider a small gesture of support in order to keep doing what we do. We would love to go from offering affordable and subsidised exhibitions to offering free ones. Facing increases in the cost of living, Thanet artists need a reduction in financial pressure, and Salon can materially support with that thanks to the generous support of those who appreciate the cultural contribution our artists make.
